Applying for Boards or Commissions?

Applications can be also obtained at the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office, City Hall, and are due at the Clerk/Treasurer’s Office before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. The applications must be received by this date, or they will not be distributed to the City Council for consideration at the Special Meeting of the City Council on Monday, May 17, 2010.

All commission applicants should try to attend the May 17th meeting. This meeting will be held in Contois Auditorium, City Hall, and will be preceded by an Open House from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. to give applicants, commissioners and Council members a chance to meet informally. The City Council meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m., at which time there will be an opportunity for Council members to question applicants.

The City Council will vote on all Commission appointments at their Annual Meeting to be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in Contois Auditorium.
